Conventional vibrating screens and feeders are usually supported by a system of steel coil springs, steel and rubber compound coil springs and/or solid rubber buffers. The physical nature of these spring systems doesn't allow any adjustment to any changes of the machine weight or oscillation speed or the applied material like changed material bulk density or material feed rate, as their spring characteristic is almost linear and designed and set up for one singular load case. As the primary purpose of coil springs and buffers is to protect oscillating equipment from its supporting structure, their integrity is always compromised through vibrations. This results in unnecessary dynamic forces being transmitted to the structure, causing issues around vibration, structural stress, material fatigue, noise and loss of energy and represents hence a suboptimal and unsafe operation of the equipment. In addition, coils springs made from steel tend to corrode, fatigue, break and require regular replacement causing maintenance costs.

  • Protection / Increased lifetime of screening machines

  • Energy saving or more production

  • Calmed structural steelwork / less damage

  • Reduced Noise Emission

  • Rarer and easier maintenance
